Threaded Shank Standards Now On Shelf
Three years ago, we began the process of stocking our Threaded Shank Reamers and Threaded Shank Core Drills on the shelf in blank form to allow for easier and quicker finishing. We can comfortable say at this point that we’re ready to handle those immediate requirements in HSS, Cobalt and also Carbide. These tools are all made between centers with a HSS Threaded Shank and that shank is brazed on prior to threading to improve torque and allow us to use the centers to thread grind each tool between centers. All of these blanks are stocked oversize and can be ground and piloted to your specific requirements.
