Made in the USA Since 1881
Alvord-Polk Tool began manufacturing reamers back in 1881 in Millersburg, Pennsylvania. Almost 128 years later, we are still manufacturing reamers along with core drills and special tooling for the aircraft industry in Millersburg, Pennsylvania. We also manufacture reamers, core drills and counter bores in our Lake Preston, South Dakota facility and our Elizabethville, Pennsylvania facility.
As an American manufacturer we find it extremely important to know exactly what is in each and every package that you receive from our company and also from our competitors. If it’s got an Alvord-Polk Tool label on the tube, it was made in the USA in our Millersburg, PA, and Elizabethville, PA or Lake Preston, SD facilities. We don’t “uncrate” our tooling, mark it with our logo and repackage it to be re-shipped. We manufacturer our cutting tools with the experience of over 125 skilled toolmakers in our three USA plants. Our quality is not added on; it is built into our products as we go through each manufacturing process in our facilities.
Don’t take someone’s word on it, come visit us and verify it for yourself. Over 100,000 square/foot of manufacturing facilities with machines and staff cranking out cutting tools. It concerns us to hear some of the stories about companies that misrepresent their manufacturing. We just won’t do that. If we have to import a tool, we’ll mark it imported and tell you that.
