Facility Expansion in Millersburg
Another 2500 square feet of manufacturing area was added at Alvord-Polk Tool in Millersburg, PA. The new addition was added to house additional equipment for the Carbide Tooling lines of Alvord-Polk. Carbide Chucking Reamers have been manufactured in the Millersburg facility since 1998 and we’ve experienced dramatic growth over the last 3 years which made the additional equipment and factory area necessary.
The addition square footage has quickly been utilized with CNC equipment for Carbide Reamer manufacturing and finishing.
With the additional equipment and additional hours being added in the carbide tooling department, Alvord-Polk is positioned to service a much broader range of standard and special solid carbide tooling. Alvord-Polk Tool currently runs 3 shifts, 5 days a week in our carbide manufacturing department.
