Inc.'s quality system gained registration to Standard: ISO 9001:
1994 on February 28, 2000. This certification was awarded
by NSF-ISR of Ann Arbor, MI and the scope of the registration is
as a manufacturer and designer of cutting tools, brushes and tooling
components and includes the two Pennsylvania manufacturing facilities
(Millersburg and Elizabethville). Our certification number
is 84311-1 and our SIC code is 3545. The quality system was
also found to be compliant with AS 9000.
Alvord-Polk Tool passed its scheduled Up-Grade Surveillance Audit to ISO 9001:2000 on August 25, 2003. The audit was conducted by NSF-ISR, Ltd. in the Millersburg and Elizabethville, PA facilities and both facilities' quality systems were determined to be in compliance with the requirements of the ISO 9001:2000 Standard.
